I've managed to meet several well known people in my life, not just in passing, for some, and in others just for a quick handshake.
None of these famous people would remember me, of course... I am not that noteworthy.
But of course I remember meeting them.
Most of the people of fame I have met are pols... either working in college at Jefferson Jackson Dinners or attending various health care summits for work.
I've also attended various dinners and conventions that have had keynote speakers that I met offstage, shook their hand, etc.
Now some of the people I've met I know are not well liked on this site, and others would be... but they are all well known in their own right.
Some were polite, others less so.
But I've managed to meet:
